Qualifications
Dairysmid hoof trimmers received their training in the Netherlands and the USA.
Where they received certificates:
- Three year farrier apprenticeship in horse shoeing.
- Hoof Care at the PTC Oenkerk Innovation and practical training center Oenkerk (Netherlands).
- Teaching the scientific explanations for lameness and hoof care consulting at Dairyland Hoof Care Institute Inc Wisconsin USA.
- Advanced Hoof Health Course at Dairyland Hoof Care Institute Inc Wisconsin USA.
They also attend several Conferences in the USA as members of the Hoof Trimmers Association.
Jaco de Bruin was invited as a guest speaker for the Japan farrier asscociation.
